Get to know Sera a little more:

What makes you laugh out loud?

Luke. He knows how to make me laugh...better than anyone else.

What is your biggest fear?

Losing Luke. I just don’t know what I’d do because it’s like together we make up a whole.

What is on your bedroom floor right now?

The tarp I put down to protect the carpet when I paint on my wall. (I just finished painting for right now and haven’t rolled it up yet.) Also, I kicked off my shoes over by my bed and my bookbag didn’t make it onto the trunk at the end of my bed--it crashed to the floor.

What is one strong memory that has stuck with you from childhood?

The first time I realized that Luke and I were different from everyone else--when I showed my grandmother what I could do by making her migraine go away. Let’s just say it didn’t go over very well--she acted as if I were evil and said some awful things to us. We never visited her again. And I realized no one else could do these things, so Luke and I agreed to never tell anyone ever again.

If you had a motto what would it be?

If you can help someone, do it.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

Oh! I don’t know. I say “Hey” a lot, and “Hey yourself.” Maybe that? I’m sure there are others that I’m just not aware of.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Like talent as in just normal talents? Not a gift like healing? If we’re talking normal talents...then I wish could sing. I love music, but I swear I sound like someone’s killing a cat when I sing. (Ask Luke. He actually described my singing voice with those exact words once. And he’s right.) But if you’re talking about what kind of gift would I want other than my own...that’s a hard question. I don’t know. It seems as if each gift comes with some sort of negative side effect, you know? I mean, Marc’s talent for hearing thoughts...you’d think that’d be pretty cool, right? Yeah, well I don’t think I’d like other people’s thoughts bombarding my brain. I want only me in my head. So, certainly it’s handy, but there’s a price. I think I’m best just sticking with my own.
